St. Joseph feast in Polizzi Generosa

The caption is not correct. Polizzi Generosa's patron saint is called Gandolfo. A couple of days spent in the town should be enough to realize that a lot of men, and some women (Gandolfa), have been named after him. People answering to this name are very very rare in other italian (and sicilian too, of course) towns or cities. Several celebrations and festivities are dedicated to the patron saint, the most important of them taking place during the second week-end of september.

Stefano, you are right, I made a mistake. I know the patron saint is Gandolfo and I know many people there named Gandolfo/a. Yet, this was a procession on March 19th in honor of Saint Joseph. They walk with a statue of St. Joseph and the child Jesus. Why such anger?
